Coldstream Capital Partners Advises Sun Supply on its Sale to Bochi Investments
Coldstream Capital Partners is pleased to announce that Sun Supply, a distributor of signage supplies and equipment serving customers across the Intermountain and Pacific Northwest regions, has been acquired by Bochi Investments (“Bochi”), a Pacific Northwest-based private equity firm dedicated to investing in the region’s underserved lower middle market.
Founded in 1972, Sun Supply has grown into a trusted regional supplier of signage products, materials, and cutting services, operating from seven locations across Anchorage, Billings, Boise, Portland, Seattle, Spokane, and Yakima. The company has built its reputation on deep product expertise and long-standing relationships with sign makers and fabricators throughout the region.
The acquisition reflects Bochi’s continued focus on partnering with founder and family-owned businesses in the Pacific Northwest that are navigating succession or seeking a growth partner. Sun Supply adds to Bochi’s portfolio of industrial & manufacturing, business services, and consumer goods & services companies across the region.
“We didn’t just want a buyer, we wanted a partner. Patrick and his team understood that from day one, and their guidance made all the difference in finding the right fit for our business,” said Chris Sullivan, CEO Sun Supply.
“Chris and his team have built something truly special at Sun Supply, and it came through in every conversation along the way. Working with a group so passionate about their business and their people was a genuine pleasure,” said Patrick Corcorran, Managing Director at Coldstream Capital Partners
“Chris Sullivan built Sun Supply into a business that runs on trust — with customers, with employees, with everyone he’s ever done business with. That’s precisely the kind of partner we look for at Bochi, and we’re proud to be backing Chris and his team as they take Sun Supply into its next chapter,” said JB Handley, Partner at Bochi Investments.
Bochi plans to support the company’s continued growth across its footprint while preserving the regional, relationship-driven approach that has defined Sun Supply for more than 50 years.
